Bay Covered Bridge

The Adventure...

Built in 1876, the Bay Covered Bridge was moved from its original site near Lake Rupert in 1966 to its current home at the Vinton County Junior Fairgrounds. The 63-foot bridge uses a double Multiple Kingpost truss system. Also known as Tinker Covered Bridge.

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

The Bay Covered Bridge is located at the Vinton County Junior Fairgrounds along State Route 93. From US Route 50, take State Route 93 North in McArthur. The fairground is approximately 1.5 miles north of McArthur.
