Appalachian Days

The Adventure...

There is no better way to shake off the winter blues than having some old fashioned fun at the Appalachian Days Festival at Burr Oak State Park. Festivities celebrate traditional Appalachian craft, art, food, and music.

”Tenting Tonight” (Civil War Lore), “Bringing Home The Bacon” (Hunting and Trapping In Appalachia), “Gimcracks and Geegaws” (Toys of Appalachia), and “Keeping It Together” (Needlework of Appalachia) are a few of the displays and activities visitors can enjoy.

Burr Oak resort offers special overnight accommodation rates for the weekend.
