The Hockhocking Adena Bikeway

Where: Athens to Nelsonville, Athens County
The Hockhocking Adena Bikeway is a 19-mile paved trail winding along the Hocking River. Stretching from Athens to Nelsonville, the trail is named in honor of the region’s first inhabitants who lived in the Hocking Valley over 2,000 years ago. While strolling along the Hocking River, visitors cathch a glimpse of both the nature and history of the region.

Wellston Bike Path

Where: Wellston to Lake Alma State Park
Constructed along an old railroad line, the Wellston Bike Path stretches from Wellston to Lake Alma State Park where it connects to the State Park’s bikeway. The path is nearly 2 miles long and passes through some scenic landscapes.
