All facilities have fully equipped kitchens. Amenities include: wood-fired sauna, outdoor hot tub overlooking the rolling hills and woods, and hiking trails. Massage is available by prior request. The Conference Center can accommodate groups of up to 135 people and offers space for meetings, workshops, retreats, wedding receptions, family reunions, and special events.

The Downing House Bed & Breakfast

The Downing House Bed & Breakfast, with its stately façade and rich history is located in the heart of Middleport and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Downing House was home to four generations of Downings, including Major John B. Downing, a riverboat captain on the Ohio River, and a friend of Samuel Clemens (aka Mark Twain). Located one block from the public dock, you can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, antiquing, history research, and relaxing on the front porch or in the sun parlor. The Mark Twain guest room, with adjoining bath, is decorated in blue & white toile, antique oak furniture, and porch windows on 3 sides. There is an elevator for easy access to all guest rooms on the 2nd floor. We are also available for small weddings, special dinners, meetings, or any variety of events.

Built in 1836, the Holly Hill Inn is the oldest home in Pomeroy. The Inn was the estate of Mary Pomeroy and Judge Irvin, prominent historical figures in Meigs County history. Nestled among the hills along the beautiful Ohio River, the Inn offers a quaint and relaxed atmosphere.
