Big Bottom State Memorial

Picture

The Adventure...

In 1790, Big Bottom became the site of Ohio's third white settlement, but historians may remember this area best as the location of an Indian massacre in 1791, when 12 settlers were killed. While the park serves today as an excellent site for family outdoor fun, visitors also can catch up on their history by viewing the monument erected in memory of the settlers.

The park offers picnic and restroom facilities. Free admission.
