Buffington Island Memorial State Park

Picture

The Adventure.....

The Buffington Island Memorial commemorates the only significant Civil War battle to take place in Ohio. A monument made of broken Ohio glacial boulders overlooks the four-acre park. The park is also home to a well perseverd Indian Mound. It is a great place to enjoy picnics and learn about the area’s history.
