McClure's Restaurant
McClure's opened for business in 1957 as the McClure’s Dairy Isle at the corner of Locust and Fourth Street in Middleport, Ohio. It was a walk up store with two serving windows, specializing in soft ice crème desserts. Today McClure's Restaurant offers a wide range of iteams from homemade soap to fish tail sandwiches. But the most poplur menu item is still the gourmet sweets - Banana Split, Turtle Sundae, and Strawberry Shortcake - Just to name a few.
