Evelyn True Button House
The Adventure...
Step back in time when you visit the Evelyn True Button House. This Federal-Style home was built in 1836 and is furnished with period pieces from the 1830s though the 1890s.Explore the summer kitchen, inspect the artwork that adorn the walls, admire the shelves cluttered with keepsakes from Mrs. Button’s trips to the “orient.” Filled with local artwork, period clothing, dishes and authentic quilts and lines - it is perhaps the most “complete” Victorian home you will ever experience. Most of the furniture was donated by the McConnel and True families.
