Johnson Road Covered Bridge

The Adventure...

Built in 1870, the Johnson Road Covered Bridge spans Brushy Fork of the Little Scioto River.  The 71-foot long bridge uses the Smith Truss system. The bridge has been recently restored and is open to vehicular traffic. This bridge is also known as Crabtree and Petersburg Covered Bridge.

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

The Johnson Covered Bridge is located on Johnson Rd (also known as Township Road 291) over Brushy Fork in the southwest corner of Jackson County near Pike and Scioto Counties. From State Route 776, turn onto Johnson Road. The bridge will be a short distance down the road.
