Lake Alma State Park
The Adventure...
Lake Alma State Park lies in the midst of some of Ohio’s most rugged and scenic territory. The park features a quiet lake and meandering creek through the wooded valley. Several trails traverse the hilltops and valley offering hikers several scenic views. A one-mile paved bike path/walkway winds through the park and connects to the 1.8-mile Wellston Bike Path. Two public beaches line the north shore of the lake and are open to swimmers seasonally. Boat and bicycle rentals are available at the beach concession office. Lake Alma offers 81 wooded campsites and a cabin camper. With abundant wildflowers, old oak stands, and a variety of songbirds, the park is great for hiking, camping, boating, fishing, and swimming.
