OU’s Performing Arts Series brings the world of theater, music, dance, and art to life. Working with the university and the community, the Performing Arts Series features performances from around the world as well as the surrounding region. Theatrical performances have included Cats, Grease, Lord of the Dance, Rent, and Chicago. Musicians such as Art Garfunkel, Lyle Lovett, and Alison Krauss have also played special performances

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

Most performances are hosted at Ohio University’s Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. The auditorium is located on OU’s historical College Green. From US Route 33, take the Richland Avenue exit towards Athens and OU. At the light, turn right onto Richland Avenue. Richland Ave will veer to the right and turn into President Street. At the light, turn left onto Court Street. Make the next left onto East Union Street. You will pass the Class Gateway – the entrance to the College Green. If you continue past the gateway and turn right onto University Terrace you will pass the back side of the auditorium. Parking is available along many of the side streets. Additional parking can be found at the parking garage on Court Street.
