Palos Covered Bridge

Crossing Sunday Creek, Palos Covered Bridge was built in 1875. The Multiple Kingpost truss system is 75 feet long and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

Palos Covered Bridge is located along Township Road 347 approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Glouster in northern Athens County. From State Route 78, turn onto Red Rock Road. Follow Red Rock Road for approximately 1000 feet and then turn right onto Township Road 347. The bridge will be a short distance down the road.
