The Adventure...

Pike Lake State Park consists of 587 acres of mostly woodland and a 13-acre lake. The park is surrounded by the 12,000-acre Pike State Forest and offers 80 campsites and 24 cozy cabins, making Pike Lake a great weekend getaway. There is plenty to do here. The lake is open to swimming, boating, and fishing. Playgrounds, basketball courts, horseshoes, and disc golf are also available. Six miles of hiking trails provide strenuous as well as casual walks to scenic locations. The adjacent state forest has several miles of bridle and hiking trails. There are winter activities, too. Sledding, ice fishing, and ice skating are some of the popular winter activites.
