Rock Hollow School

Picture

The Adventure...

Run by the Morgan County Historical Society, the Rock Hollow School House is an authentic one room school house built in 1874. It is reminiscent of early school education facilities all over Appalachian Ohio.  It is complete with original McGuffey school books and original furnishings. Each Halloween Mr. Icabod Crane reads “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” to all willing “students” who dare.

The School House is open by appointment. To schedule an appointment call the Morgan County Historical Society 740-962-4785
