The Adventure...

Part of the Artists and Orchardists of Hickory Ridge, Shews Orchard is known for their large variety of fresh seasonal fruit including apples, plums, pears, peaches and cherries. They also have lean Grass-fed Black Angus Beef and Lamb available year round. Other goods include homepun yarn, tanned sheepskin, homemade jams and jellies, applebutter, honey, vinegar, maple syrup, and woven rag rugs..

Open daylight till dark 7 days a week, September 1 to December 1. Other times of the year call to make an appointment.

Shews is also at the Athens Farmers Market every Saturday year round

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

Shews Orchard is located off of State Route 78. From State Route 78 turn left at Hickory Ridge and Shew's Orchard signs onto Co Rd 40 (Best Rd) and go 2 miles.  Then turn right onto Co Rd 4 and go 4.5 miles to the farm on the right side of the road.
