Sternwheel Festival

The Adventure...

Every September, Pomeroy hosts the Sternwheel Riverfest “Rally by the River”.  This three-day festival attracts Sternwheelers and pleasure boaters from all over. Activities include live entertainment, parades, a chili cook off, a line throwing competition, a Sexy Men's Legs Contest, crafters, food vendors, children's activities, and so much more.

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

The Sternwheel Festival takes place in Pomeroy along the riverfront. Take US Route 33 South towards Pomeroy and then stay straight onto State Route 833 South. Follow State Route 833 for approximately 4 miles to Pomeroy.
