The Chester Courthouse

The Adventure...

Built in 1823, the Chester Courthouse is Ohio’s oldest standing courthouse. The courthouse contains a museum and hosts a variety of festivals, activities, and Civil War reenactments. It is also the home of the Chester-Shade Historical Association.

Getting there is Half the Adventure!

The Chester Courthouse is located just off of State Route 7 in Long Bottom/Chester. From State Route 7, turn onto State Route 248. The Courthouse is less than a mile down the road.
